My Favorite lists of 2022

Like Barack Obama, I want to start making a list of my favorite things by the end of the year.

Asides from the fact it makes me feel like I didn't spend the year playing around, it’ll allow me to look forward to something by the end of the year, and by that i’d want to do my favorite things so I can feed the internet back.

While stating out the list, i’d drop a comment in a single sentence on how I feel about each.

To start with, i’d start with a list of my favorite books for the year.

• Love in Colour by Bolu Balalola - Best Afrocentric ever
• Professional troublemaker by Luvvie Ajayi James - Luvvie sat down to talk to me in Guise of a book.
• Everything I never told - Feelings too raw, eyes too sour.
• Travelers by Helon Habila - Refugees life matters.
• The secret Life of Baba Segi’s wife by Lola Shonein - Women are not good people.
• Things I wish I knew this earlier by Toni Tones - Not bad.
• The love hypothesis Ali Hazelwood - If I come back to life, i’d chase a a career in academia.
• Around the way girl, Taraji P Henson - Life doesn't have to be that hard.
• Without Merit by Colleen Hoover - Colleen def doesn’t disappoint .
• Someone I used to know by Paige toon - she did it the Colleen way.
• Yinka where is your husband by Lizzie Damilola - Afro centered .
• The seven husband of Evelyn Hugo by Jenkids Reid - How do I come to like a book that promotes homosexuality?
• Broken people’s playlist by Chimeka garrick - short stories are the best after Nigeria Jollof
• Jollof rice and other revolutions by Omolola Ijeoma  - what did I say about Short stories again?

For the first half of the year, I didn’t see movies but the second half, I saw great movies so here goes the list of my favorite movies of 2022.

• Grimm - For the love of German, I could watch it over and over again and I would not get tired.
• The Woman king - Nice but the controversies about the movie is tiring.
• Brotherhood - Just Great
• From Scratch - Emotional stuff
• Becoming Abi - An insight to real word professional career
• Day of destiny- Time traveling is the best fr
• Coallision course - Too real and sad
• Far from home - Great but not in a Social Media Hullabaloo great way 
• Love like this - I just can’t wait for season 2
• The groit- Public speaking is important 
• Anikulapo- Over reliance on Deceit ruins
• The King horsemen- Seeing our literature piece play out is the only stand out factor
• Blood sisters - Thrilling
• Best friend in the whole world - Nice
• Breaded Life - Anything time travelling, count me in.
• Introducing the Kujus - I love family time (good or bad)

Half the time, I don’t listen to music but I do have some interesting ones I’d choose when I feel like.

• For my hand by burna boy - This one is my song 
• Bandana by Asake ft fire boy - Nice lyrics
• Kulosa by oxlade - I mean, who doesn’t like Kulosa
• O2 by oxlade - sensational
• Under your influence by Chris brown - sentimental
• Sugarcane by Camidoh - I can’t sing but this awakens by veins 
• Rapture by Kofee - 50% of the time, I’m not sure I know what he meant 
• With you by Khaid - Has to be with you
• Dada by young John - soul inspiring
• Last last by burna boy - You just have to feel it, even if you can’t relate
• Ride for me by Byoung- this has been making it to the list since 2021
• Hrs and hrs by Muni Long - Old but legendary
• Love don’t cost a dime by Magixx - Just good.

And lastly I had some really good moments that I’d like to revive, they are my favorite moments and they goes as thus:

• Praying- there is a comfort that comes with praying and believing God has answered your prayers.
• Reading - I don’t fake my likes for books, i genuinely do love to read.
• Talking to the loml- laughing out loud and all of that stuff, I love the tranquility that comes with it and will love to see where it leads.
• Gist with my friends- we all we agree that a little gossip here and there doesn’t hurt, in between the laughter and reality is what the sweetness lies.
• Hanging out with friends and families - I hold dear of the giggles and alignment of interests
• Learning and working - I enjoy learning a lot, especially when it has to do with Data, it feels like something I am meant to be doing.
• Helping people- there is something about kindness, I could suffer in silence when it has to do with me but go miles if it was anyone around me, it’s usually much easier and I am glad I could put smiles on  even stranger’s face.
• Seeing movies - I have always prefer books to movies, but I was able to give Justice to the later this year too. I saw movies as much as I read books.
• Sleeping - OMG I sleep so much and I don’t regret it.
• Eating - I love to explore foods and Fr I could be living on my last dime but when my stomach grumbles that’s the end of it.
• Defiance- my resistance to bad energy shouldn’t go unnoticed, I tried not to overplay my role with anyone. The feeling of giving what’s served is unmatched.
• Audacity- I have been a bit Audacious with my essence and going into 2023, Audacity is my Watchword.
