Today we discuss 'entrepreneurship'. The word 'entrepreneurship' is a general term that can be interpreted differently by different people depending on the context. To understand it, it is very important to note that Entrepreneurship is more than the basics we knew from Economics back then.
An entrepreneur is a person who sets up a business with the aim of making profit by taking financial risks. He/she is an innovator who sources for ideas, funds, business and procedures with the aim of providing goods and services to a particular set of people. He/she is responsible for making conscious decision towards liberation.
Freedom, as you know, doesn't come easy. Therefore, being an entrepreneur is equally not easy. Moreover, the struggle is worth the price. The price from freedom have the tendency to change your life in many ways.
Therefore, you must make up your mind. It's not something you jump into without reviewing. Before finalizing on the decision to be an Entrepreneur, here are few tips for you to put into consideration:
-Open minded
-Problem identifier and solver
-Passion
-Confident and disciplined
-Risk-taker
-constant flow of ideas

-Competitive
-Opportunist
-Determination

As an entrepreneur, there are a lot of things that will possibly come your way especially from clients and customers. But you have to be friendly and perfect your social/customer relation. In the long run, your clients will eventually become friends. Don't forget to always engage your customers and request for feedback.
In the process, don't loose guard. You have a dignity to preserve too. Making ends meet and driving towards your passion shouldn't make you loose all the respect your personality deserves as a human.
Also, you need a standard marketing strategy. We are all aware of how modernized and technological our society has grown to become.
So you need to learn and unlearn. You need to know how effectively you can use the social media to grow your business.
In addition, try not to fret or shy away from competition. That you are in the same business with someone doesn't make you rivals or enemies. You are not in real competitions, everyone will sell their goods. Aiye o le toye my dear (life is not hard).
It's a free world! Everyone is just trying. Calm your nerves and put that shoulder down. There will always be rivals. You can't be the only one doing that thing my friend.
Entrepreneurship is a very broad topic. If we will have to continue to discuss, we won't exhaust our contents. Anyways, me sef still dey learn(smiles). I will be dropping more with every steps and achievements I take.
Watch out for my next blog post which is the second version of this where I will mention few things you need to grow as a start up brand..
