Getting to know me
I hope this met you well?
My name is Halimah Teniola Jamiu. A penultimate student of the University of Ilorin. A native of Iseyin in Oyo state but born and bred in Ibadan. As a matter of fact, I haven't been to my home town before. Funny right?
I am a 23year old lady born into a family of four; being the third child and also the second daughter of the Jamius. Growing up, I had always wanted to be a lawyer (smiles) until life happened. Law kọ̀ọ́, lawanson ni! Lol.
Anyways, I am a lover of good music. I listen to all genre as it suits my mood.
I mean relatable lyrics; whether foreign or local. My music life defines my social relation. Just simple and neutral.
My best colour is pink and black. My best food is fried rice and chicken. And in case you plan on taking me out soon, I love snacks and non-sugary junks a lot.
I am an entrepreneur. Like I said, I believe so much in the power of self and financial independence. I own a fashion brand called Dressrite by Limarh. We cater and specialise in all style of female clothing. My life as an entrepreneur has been fulfilling so far. Alhahmdullilah.
So far, my motivation is strictly connected my intention to live a life worthy of emulation and inspire anyone I come across in my day to day activities.
My hobbies include sleeping (don't ask me why), reading (books about love, marriage and business), traveling, writing, fitness and research.
My distinctive qualities relates my effective use of initiative and interpersonal relationship. This reflects my ability to be a good team leader with problem solving skills. I have a very sense of humour and sarcasm.
Well, I love surprises too. More reason to why I ventured into the brand @Surprisesandhampers (on IG). Before you rush to check it, it's inactive at the moment sha as a result of low turn up. But I am bringing it back as soon as it's possible. Trust me.
I am an outspoken person but timorous on my first few encounter with an unfamiliar person.
I can also say that I am a no-nonsense person. But I am actually a sweetheart for real. Smiles...
It has been my desire to blog for years and (hurray!) here I am today.
